Laurel Burch was a self-taught artist who sold handmade jewellery on the streets of San Francisco in the 1960s and continued to rely on her intuition and passion to create vibrant images of whimsy and allure with paint and paper. Brilliantly coloured and exquisitely embellished in blues and purples, one such creation is portrayed on Paperblanks Blue Cats & Butterflies 2017 12-Month Dayplanner.
