About the presenter:

Lisa’s background is in science communication – writing articles for New Scientist magazine, editing scientific journals, medical writing and now children’s author of STEM fiction.
Her books have won Teach Primary and Educational Resource Awards in STEM categories, and been nominated for the Carnegie Medal. She speaks at Ada Lovelace Day and International Women’s Day events about STEM and gender balance. She has read her books to children in over 50 schools all over the world and runs creative writing workshops for children.
