America! Rock' N' Roll - The Golden Years

The AMERICA! collection provides a glimpse into 20th century American music. The first three volumes dealt with classical composition, the next four volumes with the Afro-American contribution towards popular music, through Gospel, Blues and Jazz. Now the focus switches to the fields of Country, Folk and Rock 'n' Roll. Each of our anthologies (comprising 2 CDs in a clamshell box with Eng/Fr liner notes) gets to the very heart of these genres and explains their origins, their rationale and their evolution.
