Antologia cuprinde șase piese de referință pentru dramaturgia contemporană din România, traduse în limba engleză: Gluga pe ochi de Iosif Naghiu, Transfer de personalitate de Dumitru Solomon, Aceşti îngeri trişti de D. R. Popescu, Iona de Marin Sorescu, Gertrude de Radu F. Alexandru și Istoria comunismului povestită pentru bolnavii mintal de Matei Vişniec. Selecția, introducerea și notele bio-bibliografice au fost realizate de criticul de teatru Alice Georgescu. Traducerile sunt semnate de Irina Dubsky (The Hood over the Eyes, Personality Transfer, These Sad Angels, Jonah), Adrian G. Sahlean (Gertrude), Jeremy Lawrence și Catherine Popescu (How To Explain the History of Communism to Mental Patients).
