Rubens - The Power of Transformation

Peter Paul Rubens is not only one of the most important painters of the Baroque; he is also a virtuo so of the art of transformation. More than virtually any other artist he sought inspiration in the works of other artists and was thus constantly reinventing his art in a highly radical manner.
