Xscape is an upcoming posthumous compilation album of previously unreleased tracks by American recording artist Michael Jackson. It will be released on May 13, 2014 by Epic Records. Xscape is the first release of all new Michael Jackson material since the release of Michael in December 2010. With Timbaland as the lead producer, other global hitmakers such as Rodney Jerkins, Stargate, Jerome Harmon, and John McClain were assembled to provide a contemporary sound from the original recordings. Xscape is the second album to be released by Sony Music Entertainment since Michael Jackson's death in June 2009.
