Silver

An artist book by Hayahisa Tomiyasu. Each double page shows the same model of a silver car in Yokohama and Leipzig, mirrored due to the fact that there is either right- and left lane traffic. The entire concept of the book follows this approach with the cover and the imprint mirrored as you turn the pages from front to the back. Japanese photographer Hayahisa Tomiyasu studied under Peter Piller in Germany. His artist book "Ping Pong" became a classic. After his study in Leipzig he went on teaching at the Zurich University of the Arts.
