Exclusive to RIBA Bookshops in the UK, this is the latest instalment of Manel Padura's laudable project of recording seemingly every significant piece of architecture with a Spanish connection, in magnificent detail. 33 projects are presented with superbly detailed photography and plans, and the English text translation has improved too.

Highlights include Josep Llinas' slinky Biblioteca Jaume Fuster, Paredes Pedrosa's inscrutable Teatro Valle Inclan, Ruiz-Larrea's colourful Sede Central del instituto Nacional de Estadistica and Estudio Lamela's quiet, discreet Centro de Atencion para Enfermos de Alzheimer. The level of detail is unimpeachable - this is a terrific collection.
