The Apostle's Pouch

Cameron Cooper, a young African-American high school student, lives with his grandmother in a southern metropolis. He is a strong student and hopes to attend college on a basketball scholarship. Cameron finds himself in a contest of self-esteem, as his performance on and off the court is challenged, often deprecated, by a disabled Vietnam veteran. Their unfortunate clash results in a flurry of hostilities, resulting in new revelations that fracture southern myths and reveal hopeful strengths of character.
