A Child Is Born este un album cu jazz pur, un jazz cu totul dezbracat de inventiile contemporane, lipsit de atributele sunetelor moderniste. Este acea muzica pe care o poti lesne considera o masina a timpului, un mijloc de transport catre vremuri si locuri in care multora dintre noi ne-ar fi placut sa ne nastem. Muzica aleasa este ca un tablou cu scene adanci in care ne regasim, la vibratia cea mai inalta. Teodora canta Iubirea, in cele mai rafinate forme ale ei. Teodora Enache beneficiaza pe acest album de aportul unor instrumentisti redutabili, aflati la maturitatea lor muzicala: Istvan Gyarfas chitara si Balazs Berkes contrabas, ambii din Ungaria.
