John E. Hancock holds degrees from the University of Nebraska and McGill University, and has taught architectural design, theory, and history at the University of Cincinnati since 1978. His essays on architectural history and interpretation have been published internationally; his media productions and exhibits on ancient architecture and landscapes (especially Ohio’s earthworks) have been shown and honored widely; and his former students have assumed leadership positions in architectural practice and education throughout the world.
