Live concert repertoire closely mirrors album, but there are several new guest artists. The concert is interspersed with introductory statements from Lang Lang and the guest artists. The 80-minute programme also includes a stunning solo piano medley shot on the banks of the Hudson River with an arrangement of additional songs inspired by New York, including Billy Joel’s ‘Angry Young Man’, the jazz standard “Take the A-Train”, Joe Jackson’s 1980s hit – “Steppin Out” and the perennial favourite “New York New York”, made legendary by Frank Sinatra.
