After years of dreaming of flying, I grew wings and touched the skies. In 2022, I gathered the courage to embark on a journey of self-discovery, in a land which sang to me since I was a child, so far away and yet so close. Words flowed through me like memories, and I hung on to them with every breath I took.
Alongside the overflowing love I brought back with me, I have also unearthed the words that I suppressed for such a long time. This poetry book is a memoir of love for love, for someone unknown and yet familiar, for the land my soul returns to every single day. Yet, some unrequited sadness roams through these pages... it wouldn't have been my story if it were not so.
