When an adolescent of genius – the way Traian Rareș Tuș seems to be, originated from Baia Mare, Romania – writes a book about the end of the world, it is, without a doubt, a sign: we are sent a warning, we are asked to pay attention. Whether it is a good or a bad omen is left to be concluded upon close analysis. For the time being, I construe for the lector that must be incited to reading, that it is about an exceptional product of the mind of a youth matured before time and preoccupied by the great threats to this planet, to humankind. Traian Rareș will have the big chance to affirm himself in the most erudite scientific environments in the world and will bring along many remarkable messages. One of them refers to the waking of humanity from “the sleep of reason” and I want to believe that his voice – united with other lucid, responsible voices – will be able to change our dying world for the better.
