B-Real of Cypress Hill and Psycho Les of The Beatnuts have teamed up for REAL PSYCHO, a 14 track album that blends their legendary styles into a bold bicoastal fusion. B-Real, the voice behind West Coast classics like “Insane in the Brain,” merges his Latino-infused rap with Psycho Les’s hard-hitting production, honed in Queens on tracks like “Watch Out Now.” The album pulls from their deep networks, featuring guest appearances by Bay Area icon Too Short, Deftones guitarist Stephen Carpenter, Demrick, and Son Doobie. Singles like “You Might Know Us” and “Lyrical Hammers” – the latter enhanced by Carpenter’s gritty guitar ri­ s – previewed the dynamic, genre-spanning sound of the project. For vinyl collectors, Real Psycho is available in four editions, including 1LPs in black and yellow vinyl and two deluxe 2LP versions in black and limited silver marble vinyl, complete with a gatefold cover and instrumental versions of all tracks.
