Reflections - Vinyl

Víkingur Ólafsson unveils Reflections, the reworked and remixed version of his album Debussy - Rameau released in 2020 by Deutsche Grammophon. The album features Ólafsson's previously unreleased interpretations of Debussy's Pour le piano, Bruyères and Canope. These pieces were recorded on both an upright piano and a Steinway grand piano to show two contrasting sound versions. The Icelandic pianist pays homage to the two revolutionary French composers Jean-Philippe Rameau and Claude Debussy with an impressive group of guests, from electronic music with producer Clark and the duo Hugar to post-rock with Balmohrea and classical arrangements by Hania Rani.
