Lars von Trier co-writes and directs this psychological horror starring Matt Dillon.
The film follows failed architect-turned obsessive serial killer Jack (Dillon) as he recounts five grisly murders he carried out in Washington during the 1970s and '80s and attempts to transform his victims into what he perceives as the ultimate work of art.
The cast also includes Bruno Ganz, Uma Thurman, Siobhan Fallon, Sofie Gråbøl and Riley Keough.
