The master of Italian Baroque music is undeniably Antonio Vivaldi. During his life, he composed hundreds of works, and is arguably one of the most popular composers of all time, after Bach. His oeuvre is enormous and very varied, from instrumental compositions to cantatas, but he also composed many operas, many of which are included in this set.
