77 is the debut album by the American post-punk group Talking Heads, released in September 1977. This album features influences from late 60s bubblegum, Motown and caribbean music. David Byrne's voice is tense, the lyrics are distant and nervous. The song Psycho Killer, which is also on this album, was mainly a hit in the Netherlands and Belgium.
