Question and Answer

On December 21, 1989, guitarist Metheny, bassist Dave Holland and drummer Ron Haynes got together at the Power Station in New York City for a 1-day jam session. This resulted in the impressive live-in-studio album Question And Answer. The originally Metheny song 'Change Of Heart' even earned the trio a Best Instrumental Composition Grammy Award. On October 3, Nonesuch will release the remastered version of Metheny's third studio album. In addition to Question And Answer, the remastered version of perhaps Metheny's least known but most unique album Upojenie is also released. A collaboration between Metheny and the Polish singer and keyboardist Anna Maria Jopek, accompanied by a group of Polish musicians. Upojenie sold no less than 80 in 30 days in Poland. 000 copies and will now also be available here for the first time, including three previously unreleased bonus tracks. Jopek's rendition contains elements of jazz, rock and kind of 'Enya-like' dreaminess.
