The CD material has been designed to enhance the book content. There are interactive multiple choice quizzes for each chapter to allow students to check their comprehension. Full answers to questions in the book are included, as are links to useful websites.
'Kitchen sink practicals' are optional exercises that do not always relate directly to the Diploma Programme. They can be done with equipment that can be found easily around the home or classroom and illustrate fascinating aspects of the biological world that will engage and inspire students.
